Frequently Asked Questions

General
What do I need to bring to my notary appointment?

Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license, passport, or state ID). The document you need notarized must also be complete (no blank sections).

Do I need to make an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours, but appointments are encouraged for faster service. You can call or message ahead to reserve a time that works for you.

What types of documents can you notarize?

Rosemary can notarize nearly any legal document, including real estate closings, power of attorney, affidavits, wills, trusts, medical forms, contracts, loan documents, and more.

Do you offer bilingual notary services?

Yes! Rosemary is fluent in both English and Spanish and is happy to provide bilingual assistance during your notary appointment.

What is the difference between an acknowledgment and a jurat?

An acknowledgment confirms that you willingly signed a document.

A jurat requires you to swear or affirm that the contents of the document are true, and you must sign it in front of the notary.

Not sure which one you need? Rosemary will help you determine the correct notarial act.

Can you notarize documents for use outside of Texas?

Yes! As a Texas notary public, Rosemary can notarize documents that are intended for use in other states or internationally, as long as they are signed in Texas.

Do you offer mobile notary services?

At this time, Rosemary provides in-office services at 3908 Bowie St, San Angelo, TX. If mobile services become available, we’ll update the website and social media.

Are your services confidential?

Absolutely. Your privacy is important. All documents and personal information are handled with professionalism and discretion.
